Impressions:
Ravens are huge compared to Crows. Ravens sounds different than crows. They almost sound like they are laughing. Rather comical and silly sort of like hyenas. And then I remember they are the tricksters of the area.
Sitka is beautiful! Flying over the area is amazing. There are little tree mounds on the water that look like they are on stacked pieces of slate floating on the water.
The town so far seems to live in a perpetual fog. It feels like a Japanese print of the mountains that are embraced by clouds. But there is a colorful fishing village with a little group of boats on the water.
